This patch’s other major nerf was aimed at shotguns, which now cause less aimpunch - or flinching - to enemies you shoot them in the head. Viper’s poison no longer deals damage to teammates, Breach now has three flash grenades rather than two - and might be in line for a major rework - and Killjoy’s Swarm Grenades now deal a little less damage. The wall now starts at 400 health, but after three seconds grows to 800 health.Īs for the game’s other Agents, there’s a mix of nerfs and buffs. But Sage’s changes weren’t all nerfs, as her wall now has more health if it stands longer. On top of that, her Slow Orb is also now 30% smaller. Sage now only heals for 60 health instead of 100, and when she heals herself, the healing comes out half as fast. Sage might be the most-nerfed character in all of Valorant so far, but this time around Riot appears to be taking the kitchen-sink approach to reducing her power. Other changes this patch include the first ever balance update for Killjoy, and tons of great new updates to the game’s Observer mode and even adds an anonymous feature for streamers. The biggest changes is likely the nerf to Sage, but shotguns are getting a similarly-sized nerf as well. Valorant’s newest patch is here and this time around there are tons of changes for players to get used to.
